The College shall admit students who meet the eligibility criteria as given in the CAR on merit basis only.
Admission of students to the AME course shall be undertaken by the college admission
office and verification of qualification carried out by the Training Manager to ensure that the
student meet the eligibility criteria as required by the DGCA for admission to the course.
On allotment of seat, the student is required to produce a medical certificate in the Performa prescribed,
for physical fitness and for not having colour blindness.
As the student meets the medical standards and the eligibility criteria, he/ she shall be admitted for the course.
Failing to meet the educational qualification and the medical fitness, the admission shall be cancelled.
Admission shall be decided based up on student’s aptitude which shall be decided by a test if
required, and availability of seats in which the admission is sought.
On allotment of concerned category to the student by the Training Manager, a personal record
in the form of a folio shall be created and all the records pertaining to the student’s training
shall be maintained for the period as mentioned in the CAR. The format of the form is attached
as Appendix part Roll number shall be allotted by the Training Manager Batch wise and on
completion of admission; a report on intake shall be forwarded to Regional Airworthiness Office of the DGCA.
Applications for the board verification of secondary and higher secondary or
equivalent with respect to each student shall be initiated and on receipt of board verification
certificates applications shall be made with the Central Examination Organization for allotment
of computer number.
